thats not exactly true ;/.

guys can concentrate on individual sounds a lot better than women.

i forget what i was watching, but they had a group of guys and a group of girls, and each person was asked to listen to a story, and tell them what happend in it, but they were playing 6 stories at the same time. every guy could tell what happend in one of the stories, and only 1 girl.

this explains why a lot of guys like this music where as not girls generally dont'. ;D

actually that is not testing hearing at all. They all heard the stories but could not recall, that is, the women experienced more interference from the subsequent stories.

I am guessing the researching was looking at working memory or something related, not hearing. Which I think this factoid probably eludes to the size difference in men and women.....so I guess ahving small equipment in your ear helps....I dunno, I think it is a bs generalization

A duck's image does not reflect in the mirror. ;)

Oh, and I hate to burst your bubbles, but most of those historical anecdotes ("GOLF", etc.) are false urban legends: www.snopes.com
