raided last night guys major went down. it was dead too apparently there were only like 400 people in there.
Owner Arrested During Drug Raid On Manhattan Club
MARCH 07TH, 2004
The owner was arrested during a drug raid on a Manhattan nightclub early Sunday morning.
Federal agents and NYPD officers moved in on the Sound Factory in Hell's Kitchen at about 6 a.m., removing boxes full of potential evidence and computer equipment.
The U.S. attorney's office says the club's owner and two employees were arrested and charged with promoting and permitting the widespread sale of drugs. Prosecutors say such drugs as ecstasy, cocaine and marijuana were available at the club.
Drug use at the club led to several emergencies and two deaths, according to prosecutors.
It's unclear when the club will reopen, if it all.

i dont really like sf too much but this does'nt bring good light on the scene at all, but then again the cops have always been after soundfactory's ass. |

factory and exit have always been the two main targets
if they are gonna go after anywhere, its gonna be black after it opens on 3.13
i really hope JP and his security are tight, and they are sucessful with no trouble from the cops, he deserves sucess |

| I dont think SF is history. They raided it last year and it was shut down for like a month. I think Richard Grant is history. He has to go and SF needs a new owner. |

when i went to SF for Marco V, they patted me down, but didn't go into my coat pockets |

What makes you guys think that SF will re-open after being raided for the third time? It may very well have the same fate as Twilo. |

mate,,,i never even got searched in the sound factory.....im giving up clubbing in new york cos of the lack of quality class a's.....fed up of falling over pissed on the df...... |

When I was there security was very tight. Everyone had to empty their pockets, girls had to throw away their lipsticks someone's even getting their bra's inspected. BUT I was never offered so many drugs in a club in my life once I was inside the club. That proves to show there must be some form of cooperation between security/club and the dealers :/ |
