First Time Seeing PvD @ Avalon Boston!

My first time seeing PvD spin started out to be a horrible nite.. there was electrical problems with the club and I was left outside waiting for about 2 hrs..just when I was about to give up hope..they fixed the problem and was able to open the club...
PvD was off the hook! He blew the f***ing club away! He had the crowd at his mercy! The vibe was great and everyone was having a blast... I danced my ass off..my shirt and pants were soaking wet by the end of the nite! PvD was feeling the crowd too..he was pumping his arms at the crowd towards the end of the set and he had a huge grin on his face. He ended the set with For An Angel which I found surprising but the crowd went NUTS! and after the song ended..everyone in the crow chanted PVD..PVD... and he played two encore songs after that!
All I have to say is...that was one of the best nites of my life!

| His setlist looks like 20 of his most spun tracks, not much new. Only thing is his most heavily spun tracks kick ass! I do like how he added Sigum - In Progress. I spin that one too, it's side B to Signum - First Strike. Can't wait to see him October 13th. |

| I have never seen PvD live until this past Friday :eyes: :eyes: the guy was amazing..I was right behind the dj booth...and he is so into the crowd and he was having a blast as well...the music was right on..he had the whole club going crazy....can't wait to see him again...:cool: |

This was my first ime seeing PVD as well. The nite was unbelievable although it did not start that way ( power problems). I was suppose to go with about 20 of my friends, but they all were weak and chumped out ( you know who you are Kluba _702) thinking the show was not going to happen so I ended up going in with just a couple of my friends one of whom was my brother who has never been to a club or really listened to trance. I caught him dancing up a storm in there. The crowd was pumped all nite and PVD was feeling it as well. Could not have asked for a better set. Heard on the Avalon Website that they are finalizing a deal to bring Tiesto here as well cannot wait for that.

| Wow what a crazy nite!!!! I drove up from NYC with about 12 other people and on the way up my friend calls me from his car and says that the power is out at the club. I was like yeah right you are kidding for a while but he persisted which started worrying me. This would be a disaster I thought. Then we get to Boston around 9p.m and I hear that the area of Avalon indeed had no power. After driving for 6.5 hrs in the rain and unyielding traffic this was horrible news. This was horrible. We took a cab to the place and there were so many people standing outside confused and wondering what would happen. Finally we were alerted that PvD would play. Thank God!!!!!! The night was amazing. This was probably my 10th time seeeing PvD and he has not disappointed once. What a phat set. I recognized all but 4or5 tracks I think. The vibe was good and PvD was kickin. It was really cool cause I was wearing my VANDIT shirt and he was wearing his. What a great two hours. I just wished it lasted longer. And to top it all he signed my TWILO shirt at the end of the night. Great in night after all!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Sounds like Pvds performance made up for all the hassle many went through at the beginning of the night...but it doesnt surprise me to hear that he made the night one to remember.....this is why I'll be catching up with PVD in Miami, fall of this year. peace. |

I think PvD took the only copy of the recording...its gonna be played as a radio broadcast somewhere ... |
