Everyone just needs to learn how to respect other people's opinions, politely correct them when they're wrong, and generally put their point of view across without resorting to insults. Then as Moncster so rightly puts it, everything would be teh kewlness.

Indeed. General rule for threads in Chillout these days go something like this:
1. Thread Started
2. Couple of decent replies
3. In comes some twat with a "pics or stfu, don't send the letter, etc." comment.
4. Someone laffs at the stupid twattish comment
5. Someone flames the stupid twat reponsible for the stupid twattish comment.
6. Someone then flames the flamer
7. Someone defends the flamer
8. Thread Hi-Jacked
9. Thread closed. |

unfortunatly it is something that arises from the sheer volume of members we now have on the boards. 3 years ago this site wasnt even a tenth of the size, and with this diversity of people we now have you are bound to get more twats.
streakfury got it right, people need to learn respect for one-another and the varying opinions that people have. |

I totally agree with this. There a lot more of the flip n fill lasgo listeners coming on here (not saying anything is wrong with it). But ppl flame them when they ask stupid questions.

Everyone seems to be assuming that flaming implies us giving a , but the fact of the matter is that some of us flame because it's fun and/or relieves stress, and the ones who "give a " too much are the ones that whine about the flaming.

| Well I've been registered here for a while now, and was a lurker for a year or so before that, and I don't think there's really anymore flaming now than there used to be, relatively speaking. There are just more wankers around making retarded comments that we all flame now. |
