As someone said before, it comes and goes in waves. The mental retardation is fairly low right now, it was a lot higher a few months ago when a huge influx of new people came. They seem to have settled down now so it's pretty easy-going right now.

the levels of bickering/idiocy will always ebb and flow -- i think it's a credit to the mods that the boards run as well as they do; imagine if there were no neo or TT what this place would look like...

- I have been on this board ever since 2000, its very beginning, when it used to be this old forum, before it became what this new looking forum is now. I remember everyone so into the love and new wave of trance. So nice, so chil. And yes, I have the seen the drastic change tours what it is now. Its painfull yes, but it was expected. There was a time when the activity, and newly registered members jumped up withoug stopping. That was around 2001 and up.. today, Im seen a new wave as well, all the old school TA members have somewhat disappeared because of this, and things HAVE gone out of control. What everyone need to really learn is to respect, and act maturely if possible. Threads can be fun as long the attitude is the right one. ;)

You mean we all grew up into jaded ravers?

like a longterm relationship, it has evolved. if you haven't evolved with it, then maybe it's time to part?

or, once again, maybe people should stop treating the forum like their girlfriend :D

Yeah, what happened to Amit?

TA sucks these days. The atmosphere is depressing AND opressive. It used to be friendly, helpful, and inviting. Now it's just flame wars, cliques, blatantly stupid hoardes of noobs, and jaded old farts (like me).

ps: Amit is going to school in India currently.

I lerked for about a year before i joined and havn't really noticed much of a change. The only reason I notice the T.I.Ts more now is my knowlage of trance has increased (slightly.)
