Whoa whoa whoa whoa WHOA whoa whoa...What were you expecting out of them? Did you want Sasha to drop Right of Way? Did you want them to pull a bunny from out their asses? Please tell me what more you needed from S&D for them to impress you. I am stupified and befuddled by this and the other statements here saying how S&D were dissapointing...All you're saying is that they were dissapointing.
WHAT MADE THEM DISSAPOINTING AND WHAT DID THEY NEED TO DO TO MAKE YOU CONTENT?
As for me, I loved every minute of it.
Crobar is BEAUTIFUL venue, that's for sure. It has one of the friendliest staffs in the city. And you know how some clubs don't let you refill water in the bathrooms? Well, not only do they have a seperate fountain with just cold water where you can refill your bottle, they have a dude doing it for you. How ing cool is THAT?
S&D played a complete set last night. At one point of the night Sasha played this track with a huge 5 minute breakdown, and I was right in front of the booth and I screamed "drop that bass sasha!!" and looked over and smiled at me. Both of them didn't look at anyone throughout the night, but Mr. Coe gave me a big smile. Yeah, I'm important. :D
I also chilled out with Subsky for a bit and met Yunus Guvenen. Don't believe me? I introed TAUB? and DJ Lord to them. Yeah, I'm important. :rolleyes:
And Sasha dropped the new Holden & Thompson. Yeah. In heaven. A complete night. Goodbye. |

| New York got ing educated last night....for those who didnt like it ...GOOD off.....go your bed listening to that prick pvd on your iPod bitch....i in my entire 15 years of night clubbing have never witnessed better mixing than that, that was on display last night.....the venue is the best ive ever bin to...the sound was awesome......i hope that the next time Sasha and Digweed are on in town PVD is on at the same time in another venue so that all the wanker little poptarts stay away.....thanks to the 4 birds that groped my cock..... off to the bitch that stole my cigarettes........spoke to digweed outside,,got good inside info on Bedrock parties.......managed to get in the VIP section with frost by telling the stupid bouncer i was Sashas brother......MENTAL night.... |

This is Jdat posting ( I'm over at Taub's house right now ).
I will post more extensively when I get home sunday night I suppose but in the meantime and this gonna sound cheesy as can be but tonight seriously changed my life. The whole time you kept wondering WHAT'S NEXT ? Last night went to prove that diggers and sasha can hold a crowd and bring them anywhere; simple as that. Crobar was just the icing on the cake. Ok it was packed but come on people don't be silly ... it's S&D they can only pull phenomal crowds especially when you consider they haven't played together in Nyc for a while ( I hear from the Twilo days ).
I came to the show sick; I swore to myself I'd be there even if it meant being brought by an ambulance. Well I'm guess I'm feeling better... ok enough of bla bla bla time to go out and eat with the peeps here and then Cox and holden tonight.
And for those who know Diggers ( and know that him or sasha didn't spin goa last night ) I'd like to let you know that I bothered him about the kiss 100 show; he said it'd be back on in TWO MOTHERING WEEKS !!!!!!!!!! |

this is Peter (bzy c) on matt's computer. . . .i had a great time last night. the club was AWESOME, the bouncers (super nice), girls were simply AMAZING and outgoing. I felt that sasha and john were ON POINT and rocked the place. Whats this i hear them playing goa?
dunno bout that but mannnnnn, they simply rocked the outta that place.
i cant say it was the best performance ever, but the vibe, ppl there, the club especially, just made the night simply wow.
shoutout to everyone and that dude with the GOLD TOOF. |
