| I have a navel piercing that I attach a chain to and then attach the other end of the chain to my camera. That way I never loose it. |

as much as this sounds practical... it also sounds painful.

If it is something that big & expensive (ie a digital SLR), you'ld probably be fully aware of it being on you at all times. Therefore, there is no way in hell you'ld let go of such a camera when carrying it around.
As for dancing... I'm guessing you either have a friend you can trust to hang onto it if you wanted to go dancing or just go easy on the dancefloor. lol.
I remember bringing an SLR on a semiformal boat cruise... it helped to have close friends who don't like to dance. heh. |

thats another discussion alltogether...
SLRs are big and bulky and there's no way around it.
But image quality is better than any point and shoot cameras.
About the D70, i was browsing some forums yesterday and it seems it has an annoying bug where it shows some moire...
look at this pic to understand:
this is a concern for anyone ditching that kind of money, still, it has to be seen if Nikon will come up with a fix for this. |

actually the 1D had the same problem
