SPRING is finally here and Plexi Thursdays return after a long, cold winter hiatus. Beginning a new monthly residency CHRIS FORTIER takes the decks with special guests each month. As co-founder of the Balance Record Pool, Chris tests the newest tracks from around the world that are bound to make an impact on US dancefloors. On the production side of things, Chris started Fade Records in 1995, to produce and develop underground gems by budding and established artists including: Steve Porter, Smight , Dream Traveler, Chris Fortier, Dan Moris & Shylock, and Descent.
Special Guest: Sean Cusick
Tonight's special guest SEAN CUSICK brings his blend of sexy house and techno together with long-tme dance music cohort Chris Fortier. Also, highly regarded for his productions under monikers such as Freelance Icebreakers (w/ Jimmy Van M), Second Hand Satellites (w/ DJ Three) and Q6. His insightful, no holds barred, candid musings can be read around the world at Xpander.nl.
Tonight is an intimate underground dance music event for the dance music cognoscenti with new tracks, new sounds and new directions. Let's get Back to the Basics...

I'd be right there with ya buddy but unfortunately i'm only 18...
Avalon is the only place for 18+ with decent talent that i know of...and for the money, i'd rather be at avalon boston even though they close at 2...i'd rather have that than my ears shot to ...anybody care to enlighten me of anything else going on in nyc besides roxy thats 18 plus????? |
