KilldaDJ
acid, never used
reason, too hard to use
cubase, going to use and end up hating to use

fruityloops, easy to use and gives a good sound.
shampones
cubase = porsche
fruity = kia
bottom line

fruity is user friendly but lacks the depth of production

In case you're wondering exactly WHY cubase is so good.. for me it comes down to utalization of resources. Cubase is 10x better with resources then ACID is (used ACID for about 3 years) and is 5x better then FLoops (used for about 2 months)

What is the newest version of cubase?

And how does nuendo stack up?

Go to their website....
Subtle
Cubase, Logic, Pro-Tools and Sonar are the biggest programs period.

I prefer Cubase SX 2, but that is beacuse I learned that first

Reason = too easy to use, doesnt allow integration of VSTi's without the use of sampling... bad effects, archaic synthesizers. but.... i love the sequencer and its relatively easy learning curve.

Acid = havent used much. Didnt like sequencer.

Fruity Loops = Easy to use. Integrates VST's... Good sequencer... meh... not my bag though.

Cubase = havent used it.

Buzz = The freedom to create what ever the i want! Hehe... This has been my most liberating electronic music composition experience.

How can something be too easy to use?

i dont ing understand reason at all, read the manual and used the tutorial files and im still ing confused.

the sequencer itself its complicated compared to FL

however reason does have an impressive sound bank.
the samples included with FL were just cheap.
