Yeah, I like that Propellerheads "History Repeating". It would have made a good Bond song, considering that:
1- Shirley Bassey sings on it
2- The Bond films are really starting to repeat in many ways (and even Pierce Brosnan has complained) ;) |

Speaking about Brosnan, I think he makes a fantastic Bond. The only other actor I had liked in the same role was Roger Moore.
The latest Bond movie sucked terribly, however. Abysmally poor special effects :( |

Yeah... IMHO it's starting to seem samey to me... Brosnan (who I really like too, he is super-suave) raised a hoot allegedly over the report the next Bond movie might be called Casino Royale but not as a tribute to the first James Bond film, and it would have a totally different plot and all that -- the only real similarity being the name, and the fact a fellow named Bond was in it ;) I hope that's not true. I really did enjoy the orchestral/electronic score to the last few Bonds though, I think Dave Arnold does a great job... like that scene in The World Is Not Enough when Bond is scooting around on his boat near the exploded part of MI6 headquarters. I thought that was really good action music! Some of it even approaches drum 'n' bass in the way the beats are treated.
Wonder who will be doing the next theme song... if it will be like the last one...... ;) |
