Pope Says Sundays For God, Not Sports (pg. 2)

| He’s done some good in helping the cause of peace in regards to some issues, but I lost respect for the man long ago after I learned how high up the scheme of protecting child molesting priests goes in the Vatican hierarchy. |

I think I'm going to start a nonprofit organization. And since I live here in the Bible Belt, it will probably take off quickly. I think I will title it:
"God Hates Sports on Sundays"
And I think I'll start a website called:
www.godhatessportsonsundays.com
And see how far it gets me.

That I'm in the middle of a beautiful Bible-thumpin God-fearin' land?
I'm sorry I choose NOT to be out there with all you California heathens, but feel the confines of my church-land oh so much more comforting.
And please, listen to our Pope. He and God have a very good relationship. They email each other all the time, so I know God tells us to stop watching and playing sports on Sundays if the Pope says so.

to each their own, but i guess Mr. Pope John Paul should probably understand that if he says things like this in such a manner many people may be offended...
on the other hand, before we blindly criticize something we don't understand maybe we should think a bit more before we post a flaming reply...
this is also the same man who said breakdancers (the good ones) have a "god-sent" ability hehe kinda cool imo...
