dumbass, the majority of posters here are of a relatively younger age, which therefore comfortably assumes immature opinions based on immature rationale...young people having adult conversations about adult topics is like having a pet llama: they're cute to look at and they're entertaining, but that's all they're really good for...
there will hardly be any resolution from a thread posted here...there will only be young and immature people pontificating inexperienced rationale which will then turn into personal catfights and namecalling...they almost always do...am i acting hypocritical right now? yes, but that doesn't mean that I'm not right...
if i want a good debate on TA, ill go to the political discussion forum...the people there are as onery as i am..i kinda like that :cool: |

Assuming that everyone posting in a thread just happens to be a teenager is, well, pretty silly. I know for a fact that various people who've posted here (surprisingly :p) aren't actually teenagers.
Back to the topic though, imho the pope is wrong on this one. Firstly, shock horror, there are a lot of people who don't take their religion seriously, or (again, shock horror) don't have a religion, or don't believe in god. Fine, if you're a Christian and don't want to watch sports, then don't. But don't go interfering in the lives of people who don't follow your religion. Nobody is forcing devout religious people to watch or attend so-called 'secular events' on a Sunday, so why does he care? |
