Furthermore, someone should approach the club about having TOTA DJs in said "trance only room."
I've heard about this MoS club as well - woohoo, more boring, generic, commercial electronic music.
We need a club that will push the limits of this scene...Boa is doing a good job of that, I think. This club is going to serve the juice monkey generic downtown clubbers, not people who have a serious, genuine interest electronic music. |

A new club will always bring a ton of exitement to the boards, but what about the fallout for the scene?
Will competition keep the different clubs bringing in lots of talent, @ decent prices, or will there be a jump in prices to push towards a more elite afterhours.. or a forced higher cover as the norm so they can afford to run these big weekly events...
Bigger is not always better.

I have been to the place to apply for a job. The space itself is spread over lots of floors, like 4 or 5. The main room is not that big and the other floors are small due to the middle being cut of for the balcony. The place is big but really screwy due to the layout. As for this place replacing Guv or System, i dont think so and not even close. Remember the layout of Paladium with the corridors, its the same. I hope they do well because it could be a nice venue and TO needs more electronic music. I think they could be a big part if they play it smart. I dont think MOS is the answer concidering the formage they put out.
Question. I heard MOS Clubbing group went bankrupt? True or false |

wtf, no way. they prolly mean that the bar closes at 2, but wtf who parties for just 4 hours? at guv or kool haus, the party keeps going on until dawn.. only the flow 935 or z103 clubs close at 2, hahaha. |

That was what stood out for me too when I first checked out the site and figured maybe that was a typo. If not, I agree.. it could just become another breeding ground for the mainstream loving, heavy drinking crowd. Shame to waste a cool space on that if this in fact what happens. But who knows... worth checking out and giving them the benefit of the doubt for now. |
