| Umm... hip-hop, rap, crap, etc. is tasteless, cheap, unoriginal, cheesy, uninnovative, uncivilized music that should be banned forever. No matter who is the artist. There is no such thing as talented rapper, LMAO :stongue: :haha:. |

um, uh in our generation there's variations of 'rave' music that concide with rap. ie. Drum n' Bass, artists like Streetz, and some other djs that are known for flowing lyrics while spinning.
The funny thing is, alot of hip-hop is just like trance. the people that make the most money in the hip-hop genre are the producers. All the beats and melodies that rappers/hip-hop artists flow to use the same kind of stuff trance-heads use day in and day out, except that hip-hop is way more of a profitable music genre then trance, sad to say.
I don't hate rap, I like all music. Trance is mainly my guilty pleasure. I don't think trance has the same kind of emotion in music as rap or hip-hop does. Trance is more of energetic music, just to dance and go all hyper over, rap is more angry, and hip-hop is more fly, booty shakin, grinding music. Best kind of music to bump your bass out of in a system. |

there's alot of stuff out there with the tiest lyrics (money, ho's, guns .. same ol ), but amazing beats.

actually I met an amazing producer out here that makes original rap songs. The wierd thing is that he is doing it all in fruity loops. and he has this rapper with him that spits out some original crap.
most people in the "rap game" if you will hate it cause it is so different and original.

I'm just saying losing good artist is a sad thing. After this thread i found out there are ALOT of ignorant people in this forum(mostly are cool^^) but people like YOU should just stay home in your little circle and never come out and embrass yourself.
ALL music are good music, with or without words, bad words good words either way as long as its coming out of their heart when they made it. Adding some foul language isnt a bad thing, we are the ones who made those words and whos says it cant be in a song? Music progress with a drum first then added some strings, then some piano keys. All for one purpose, to make it fresh, to make it intersting , TO MAKE SOMETING NEW TO OTHERS EARS. Its a progress, i dont see nothing wrong, maybe later on there will be songs made with sounds that we never thought of putting into a song.
You want people to like your music but not excepting other kinds of music, and calling it crap,what does that make you? are you really cool now?
Dont get me wrong i LOVE trance, progressive etc....ALL MUSIC ARE GOOD MUSIC.

don't know any underground rap/hiphop. i beleave rap was about telling whats really on your mind.. (and not just telling the world you ed a bitch and shot her head off and bla bla) i just hate the general attitude.. look at those vids.. stupid moves, stupid lyrics, and most of all the stupid ppl with there stupid attitude. they are pathetic! and the ppl who walk trough my school yelling "50 cent AAAAAAIGHT" are even more sad, atleased the 'artists' make money doing it :D
the most of em dont even seem to know what they are really talking about :o
btw. every 50 cent aaaight kid i know gets his music from the net.. :o |
