Of course you have, but just to be sure, since I can't see any praising of this song in the "greatest tracks" topics.
Have you, or have you not, heard it? If not, go get it posthaste. Try the End All Remix.

You know what a future cool technology would be?
Every time a track was namedropped on here, it'd automatically be hyperlinked to a 30 sec. sample or something. Can you imagine how fun that would be, and how much time that would save running searches and stuff?
(Yes, I know, how incredibly lazy... but hey, we have Romba the robot vacuum ;) It's 2004!!) |

As a matter of fact, it WOULD be handy. Anyways, go get that song now, you can't and won't be disappointed. It's

I managed to find the track, but only the "Live Mix," which was the same as an unlabled mix I found as well.
If this is at all representative of the mix you're talking about, it's not particularly good in any way. Roughly amateur material, with no coherence, poor mastering, and obvious, random, pointless sample use. The Irish jig at the end, as contrasted with the rest of the track, borders on comical.
The only part worth any mention is the goa section from about 3:40 to 4:28.
First the Xpander gaffe, now this? You are an odd one. To each his own, I suppose, but some might claim you need a bit of taste. |

My god....Holymen? Are you ing kidding me? Holymen is like the DJ Sammy of ing Goa!!!!
I'm sorry but Holymen's stuff is way to simple, overtly melodic w/ a good amount of swiss cheese added...Holymen is not good goa.
Astral Projection
California Sunshine
Pleiadians
Blue Planet Corporation
Transwave
Etnica
Man With No Name
Those names equate w/ GOOD and RESPECTABLE Goa...don't bash the good name of Goa by throwing out Holymen's name.
Your "greatest tracks" are pretty lame. But as I always say to each their own. I'm glad you like it, but you are in the minority when it comes to the Goa/Psy-Trance fans & not to mention trance fans in general. |

I know that Holymen is generally cheesy, but this track is not! Okay, the original is amateurish, but the end all mix is remade in the most excellent way.
Unless you find it, don't judge. |

Don't think of Holymen as bad goa, but as good trance.
Sure, Astral is good (got all their albums), but they are so damn repetive sometimes. And they, too have their cheesy moments.(burning up, axxis)
Oh, and I forgot, the live mix of TLU is the worst of the lot. By far. |

| I used to love Holymen when I started listening to electronic music - 5 years ago, being 15. Today I find most of his tracks cheesy but this particular one is still enjoyable if you don't take it too seriously ;) |
