so far i have been using really quality cdrs. sony, fuji, memorex, verbatim, imation, and tdk.

i need new ones. i was thinking of getting more sony's but i heard now that they are crap. memorex and fuji (5 colored cdrs) are suppose to be the .
Galapidate
Yeah, Memorex is really good.
Plastick
I've always been using imation & benQ. Both are fine tho sometimes i feel that the imation ones are slightly louder in volume for audio cds.

The good old generic ones do the job for me. They are cheap and I have not encountered any problems (so far).

TDK for me. Never had any problems with 'em.:)

PC world- Pc line ones.

No markings on the unplayed side, and they arent green either- they look like normal cds on the playing surface..

£2.30 for 10- ive never had one up- every other make seems to produce a up every now and then or doesnt like certain machines. These ones are cheap and work very very well.

They're all the same, they only change the logos.

Oh, and this is a fine example of music discussion right here.

well the 'generic' ones youre reffering to are just CDR's without labels. They come from different brands there is just no way to tell the difference.. So basically whenever you buy a blank cdr you never know what youre going to get...

life is like a box of chocolates, you know ;)

I don't burn many discs so I like the Memorex black backs, just for looks. They're usually about 50 cents a disk, since the little bastards are never put on sale, but I'm willing to pay more for the appearance because I like to have the discs I give to other people be distinctive and easily recognized.

High quality product though too, and I've never had an issue with them.

I tried buying a cheap spindle of another brand once and my burner disliked them for some reason and wouldn't burn to them *at all*.

Granted, my burner is a 5 year veteran at this point, so it might just be getting tempermental in it's old age
