wait a second! each room is 50mx50m so that equals 2500 square metres. Let's just say for the sake of argument that the number of people in each room is equal, 6000 in Playground and 6000 in Aria. That would mean that each person would have only 0.4 square metres of space! And I'm sure that the majority of people will be in the Aria room when AVB and PVD are spinning. Can this be right Malek?
Last year, I remember there being tons of dancing space.
Oh yeah, and the bathroom situation wasn't THAT bad last year. The wait was maybe 20 minutes at the most, And that was because the staircase leading to the bathrooms was so narrow that it formed a bottleneck. There were more than enough bathrooms for everyone. |

| I agree 100% with you Desidel. Convention centre is always better. Last year, I thought the main floor was perfect, there was tons of room to dance. Actually I just checked the dimensions of the ice surface at the Bell Centre and it is 30m by 70m which comes out to 2100 metres square. So each room at Bal will be 400 square metres larger than the bell centre dance floor!!!:) |

actually, Bal en Blanc is a house music party... so I don't think most of the people would be at the aria room. You also forget that there's a lounge room that will play the same music as the aria room. Plus all the hallways and such...
I though it was bad last year, way too big and except the front of the room, there was no "party" feeling to the rest of the room.
Bathroom was a problem for most (especially girls) because they had to wait for almost an hour. Anyways, there's 3 times more washroom space this year :) |

yeah good comparison.
last year was about 100 * 100 meters, which was just too big (sound was bouncing everywhere too). |

Last year the bathrooms were horrible - I waited close to 40 mins to take a pee and there were all these people just walking up - trying to get ahead in line. I am glad they fixed it. :)
I am going along with 4 friends from Ottawa.
