| It was a good show, very unbiased. Presented both sides of story. Kinda urged the Government to present better and more accurate data because if they do at some point find something wrong then no one will believe it. Right now the Government has no credibility with the public. |

I was pleasantly surprised that ABC, a highly conservative network, would air such a documentary- especially since it`s apparently owned by Disney. For the first 30min we were convinced it was a tactic to keep us watching. They actually presented the material in an objective manner; leaving the viewer the option to make their own assessment. :p
Good timing that it coincided with the massive Toronto drug bust...at least it didn't interfere with our access :eyes: |

kind of related...but I just don't understand the hype. There are all these doctors and researchers saying how one pill can cause irreversible brain damage, how prolonged use can result in 75% dopamine loss, blah blah. So show us the people that are "messed up"
from e!
It's pretty easy to find a TON of people that have had alcohol ruin their lives...yet it's still legal (gov't tax revenue, of course). People have been doing e for decades...where are all the tragic stories of e messing up someone's life in the same way? where are all the traffic related deaths due to e? Where are the stories of e-related violence? oh...there aren't too many!
yet the drug is villified on the level of coke and herion. It's such bull. |

I went out for lunch with a coworker, who's about my age and really down to earth.
We order our drinks, waiter walks away, and he leans forward and says "so you've tried ecstasy right? because I saw this Peter Jennings show last night...."
THANKS PETER! |

While I mostly agree with what everyone's saying (I'll play the devil's advocate), let's not pretend that it is a completely risk free activity...
Some people have adverse reactions to either the MDMA or more likely the other it's been cut with to the point of either death or brain damage.
The answer is not black & white one way or another (as I feel about most drugs).

Yeah i have a friend who was suffering from depression then he got hooked on e and had to be hospitalized after like 3 months of use. But i also have friends that don't seem to suffer any adverse effects at all so there you go. |

Its so true, there is no black or white line, its all grey area, Scientist dont even know how our brain works fully, so how are they supposed to know how a drug effects us to its full extent... |
