First off, let's just say i got home at around 7ish, went to sleep at 8am, and now im awake 3hours later....oh mah gadt.:eek:
The dinner was great! Tons of TA's were there, some I knew, some I did not know, but all was well and the night was young. The Dinner rocked, ate some fries and people kept hitting their head on this cieling light that dangled from above....the cieling light of DOOM.
anyway.... we all went to the party and when armin came on the crowd went insane. I was chillin with so many people it wasn't even funny. Every single part of last night completely kicked ass.
As far as details go, im still a bit farked up.
so mehbeh later ;)
and scott, thanks for the after party, it was much needed and well appreciated. :)
Mario- once again, you're always the man to bring me home no matter the time, no matter the situation. Muchlove on that.
As for all the peeps I met last night, and you know who you are...I hope to see you all again very soon.

yes, OMFG, best set I've ever heard from Armin.
Great time, kickass time having dinner and drinks with everyone, awesome time partying with all the TAs and the VERY front all night long, nice chillin with everyone too at Scott's place afterwards :) All in all an amazing night! now that's how we DO in the ATL :D

| The party was awesome, the vibe was thick, and i got to meet alot of TA's lastnight! I had a blast and it was great meeting all of ya'll and good to see you at the afterparty, sorry i had to dip kinda early i was going on like 2 hrs of sleep and i had to work the next day early. I guess i'll see all of yall at PVD and this time around i'll be a little more rested.:) |

HAHA I just got home! I got so lost on the way back to TN it wasnt even funny...I had to stop and take a nap at a truckstop. I think i left Scotts at 1:30 and its 7:15 now...anyways that show was off the hook... Armin blew it up and kept the energy high all night! The pre-dinner was cool I got to meet all the AtlantaTA's. I didnt care much for the first DJ but Armin made up for it 10fold!!! Scott nice afterparty and again thanks for letting me crash. Well I hope to see all of you again sometime or another have fun at PvD!

Lots of TA's at the dinner. Sorry we couldn't make that on time, we showed up late and we didn't have time to really even meet anyone, next time though!
So we go into the club and it's super empty, but it's ok because we knew it would fill up. Anyway, the opening dj is playing and I start thinking to myself, man these guys can be really damn good. They really serve a purpose bringing the crowd in and building up to the headliner by the time they are closing their sets out, the roof is usually blowing off, haha. I used to hate having to wait, but it adds to the fun. I mean who wants to go to a club and as soon as you walk in it's shaking like an earthquake anyway. this is what happened when Tiesto played at space. GD Ton B opening and dropping tracks like Electronic Malfunction-a little out of control for an opening DJ if you ask me, i mean i like to save SOME energy for Christ's sake. But hey that's the kind of banging that is necessary to open for Tiesto I guess. HA, anyways I'm getting off track....
So they had the booth on the main dance floor which is really cool because you can really get close to the DJ's however, they had it roped off (probably about a 10 ft radius, so when Armin came on (12:40pm or so) everyone was crowded around it we kept inching it up to where I would say we were within 2 arms length of him by the end of the night. funny , to me anyway.
So most of the TA's were right up in the front row for like the entire night, Armin played some amazing songs, , I had never seen him before and now I am a big supporter, this set at least was like a cross between PVD and Tiesto. But he connects with the crowd really well, dances, smiles, sets the headphones down, gives thumbs up and will actually look at people. Armin pretty much signed everything everyone gave him. He gave out records like they were water and took pictures with everyone that requested. I also remember him coming around the dj booth and dancing with the crowd during his encore track. It's just too bad that our resident photographer's batteries ran out in her camera. (you know who you are) :whip: Anyway, fun hanging with the europeans Thom and Jen or Jenny, and everyone else, we had a blast.
Sucks we missed the afterparty but i had been at work since 630 am and left at 9pm, i thought to myself after leaving work, "i guess i'll go to this armin thing for a little bit and just leave", little did I know he would play such a bad ass set and keep me there til close! :nervous: Man I would not miss another Armin show I will say that.
I don't know how Jack ID's so many songs and remembers them all, i think you must type them into your phone??!! That's all I have to say, mario, i know YOU had a great time, yeah baby!
Also if Scottaculous would ever answer his IM's, can we have another Chappelle party at your place tomorrow? I got some more baked goods. I feel like dancing with thumbs again finally for some reason. Dark room, strobe light, I die so hard, hahahahahaha.
By the way arturo, that vickery's is a pretty cool place.
Next up, PVD, can't wait. BUT $30 bucks for a buck 30, I mean by the time he plays Crush 3 or 4 times you are really down to under an hour.
