It took me 3 years of drinking beer (cause I liked to get drunk ;)) before I started liking the taste, now I love it.
I keep reading these descriptions of different wines and they sound wonderful but so far I haven't liked any of them. So i'm wondering if I should maybe drink a glass of wine a week for a year to see if I start liking it? |

If you don't like the taste drink wine mix it with cola or gas water, it tastes better ;)
I don't love wine but now sometimes with my friends before enter to a club we drink a bottle of wine, it's really sad because we do this only for get drunks and save money. |

| It depends on the wine. White wine I think is awesome while Melot sucks. |

| sorta tastes ty but then again im not a big fan of alcoholic beverages to begin with. only reason i drink it now at dinner is cause im in italy and i enjoy getting mildly buzzed, makes the food taste better and i tend to engage in more interesting conversations at the table. plus with everyone else on that diff tipsy wavelength i need to catch up. |

Wine is definitely an acquired taste, just like beer.
There is a huge range of different wine out there, and there are tastes to suit all paletes.
Basically, you just have to keep trying lots of types of wine before you start to know what you like.
My favourite wine is Penfolds Grange
($500/bottle at least.....i wish!)
Everyone is the US seems to like this "Yellowtail" wine from the Australia, and yet i have never seen it in the bottle shop where i work. We have hundreds of wines (mostly Australian), and yet no Yellowtail.
