Hum, I was thinking....

Why all music now come with a Markus Schulz remix"?
Why not James Holden, Luke Chable, Yunus Guvenen, Sasha, Kleinenberg or other new rising artists like Nathan Fake, Petter, The MFA, etc..."???
I think Markus is a good dj but his productions are not that good like the artists I ve mentioned...
"Sleeping pills"

Whats your opinion'?

;)

imo he's hardly a prog dj, but he definitely is the McProg god.
fitom tiel
hm..

i'd say prog would be more of a polytheistic religion.

and they would all be deities.

eh how so?
Galapidate
He's a mix between uplifting and progressive trance IMO. He'll have his day sooner or later.

the ones youve mentioned have very distinctive styles. markus on the other hand i think is rather versatile when it comes to sound so it would probably generate a greater accepting audience

I'll second that! ;)

Markus Schulz = McProg God
Sasha, Luke Chable, Matthew Dekay, and James Holden = Prog Gods

hmm Sasha, Holden and Sander K are much more versatile when it comes to their sets. the only difference is that they don't play cookie-cutter prog.

Markus Schulz is awesome in my book... you can feel the energy from his sets. His style is refreshing and versatile, in your face uplifting poundage. *fists in the air everyone* :D
montie
markus schulz productions are tight. (especially under his dakota alias from a while back).

he's not a god. and i would not compare him to James Holden.

too lazy to say anything else

arturob
markus schulz style = electronic elements! not really 'one' category of music!
torontotrance
no....the prog god is John Digweed

I'd see him anyday over Markus Schulz
