Whenever the books arrive, I'll put a sticky note on the book I got for her telling her how Wicca is not demonic/satanic in anyway. Then I'll hide my book on becoming Wiccan so she dosn't burn it. This is the woman who thinks that if you draw a swastika in the dirt and take two of those seeking wire things that detect negative energy coming up from the ground(my step dad uses them to find rebar when he's cutting cement), that they'll bend and twist, but if you write "God" over the swastika, they won't...
And she does believe(like millions of others) that Wicca is satanic/demonic/devil worship. I don't want to get into another fight with her on the subject. Hell, I'll cook Wiccan dinners on Friday night for the whole family to help show them that it's not satanic. |

The swastika is just a symbol, its like drawing a happy face or drawing shapes. Even though its been associated with the nazis, the symbol was and is widely used as art.
are you just learning about religions or are you serious about wicca? maybe you should explore other religions before settling for one. |

| I was raised a Christian, and was one for 13 years of my life. Then I began to stop being so ignorant of science, evolution, speciation, etc, and began to actually start reading about it. As things went by, I eventually became Agnostic, then afterwards, Athiest. But I am serious about becoming Wiccan. |
