You're talking about JOSH FREESE. He's really good but not as good as DANNY CAREY from TOOL.

**daydreamer! you suck man! you met apc's drummer...now that's a perfect meet! I can identify the notes being played on a guitar but can not play...like I know a and f and some other note. my sister plays acousitc and she's a drummer, too. well she is the only drummer in her school (she's in 7th grade) and she plays keyboard. I LOVE MY SISSY...aw. yes.
btw....tool was awesome too!
no best drummer mark whatever from foo fighters...was drummer for nirvana until cobaine went stupid (cocaine) and died.

Bass and guitar. never picked up the drums, sorry. but i sort of know what comes in where. when you have been playing this long, you just sort of know. i can see the music if that makes any sense. maybe it doesn't it.

btw. for drummers, the best live ones i have seen is Alex from Mana, spanish rock band, and the drummer from A Perfect Circle. these guys are insane live. plus, the lyrics are just so...
and the use of notes just....

nah hell nah, not Mana. he was quite good at a point in history, as was the band. i think he actually got a nomination or award for best latin drummer last year or the year before. cant remember exactly.
lately, the band has turned to a formulaic writing process were all the lyrics contain at least a line about love and butterflies and the drums have a simple latin ballad-ey feel to them, with the guitars accompanying the vocals and the bass accompanying the guitars. pure e.

Travis from blink happens to be quite good, though i dont like the band at all.
Josh Freese is one of my favorite, though Danny Carey does beat him in my book.
i like Jose Pasillas from Incubus' style.
and i fukn adore Dino C. from Dredg

i can read both notes and tabs. played drums and bass for the school band as well as three cover bands.
one of the bands got to play at a bar once, another one was featured in a talent show as the opening, closing and intermission act without actually being part of the talent show. the other got to play at an international food/culture festival with ~1000 attendees.
ive been around, though ive decided to focus on djing.

wtf are you on about?
you mean Dave Grohl, vocalist, but not drummer of Foo Fighters?
Cobaine went stupid?

this is degrading.

For your information Kurt Cobain was a musical genious. He started a musical revolution. The songs he wrote are some of the best ever in the history of rock IMO. If you dont know wtf you are talking about just STFU. Dave Grohl is the ex-drummer of Nirvana who is now the lead singer of the FOO FIGHTERS. Cobain was notorious for his heroin useage not cocaine. Show some respect to a rock legend FFS. :whip:

i agree.

the most recent cd's don't do the band justice, they have definately gone down hill. frankly i think it is about time they retire, they look quite old. i was referring to their earlier work. Donde Jugaran los Ninos. the whole cd kicked ass. and the two cd's after that. not really bad ass drums, but great melodies and lyrics, La Ley. that band just does it for me. although that does lean more towards the pop/rock genre.
