Here is something I came across at the bpmtv forum...

Ok so many of us have been complaining on this forum cuz the music videos have started to suc hardcore...and we pay for this e. Some of us have vented aggressively, and sometimes we've used the hip hop and urban shows to bring out our point. Not cuz we hate them, only cuz we're venting. So read this and give ur ur comment on?

To all of you who have posted about how much you hate Urban Groove and Hip Hop Nation, you're all a bunch of whiny, spoiled brats. "Oh boo hoo hoo we don't like to see so many black people and that rap hippety-hop on our nice, clean white dance network." In the last 30 years years Hip Hop has proven itself time and time again as one of the greatest forms of expression and has become one of the most influential mediums in history. I congratulate Dalton Higgins and others out there who are keeping the vibe alive in Canada and giving a voice to the underground.

I'm also a huge fan of dance music, especially soulful house, and I'm sick and tired of going to clubs and seeing Eurotrash like yourselves walking around like you have some genetic right to be there. Grow up, learn your music history and give respect to all forms of music and expression.

It has nothing to do with black people, because I dislike country also and that's dominated by white people. Conversation over.

So let me get this straight.....

You pay money to subscribe to BPMTV, which is internet TV, i'm guessing? or cable? whatever.....

So it's supposed to be an electronic music channel, which includes many genres - house, DNB, breaks, trance, techno and Hip Hop

And you are whining about two particular shows - "Urban Groove" and "Hip Hop Nation".

I don't get it. If you don't like those videos, then don't watch those particular shows. If you mean that hip hop is starting to take over the channel, and you barely see any good stuff anymore, then that is ghey and i agree with you. However, if you are just complaining about those two shows, then i think you need to chill out and respect all types of music.

if you are subscribing to bpm tv bcuz u think they play electronica, u are just too dumb.. i mean, bpm tv alsways plays wat u hear on z103.5... hell they even once showed z103 summer rush 2002 i think.. so wut is with bpm tv feat. electronica??? their show "back at ya", the people who request the songs arent even trance fans... they request the stupidist tracks ever.. for eg. tremble- marc et claude... i unsubscribed after 5 days i had purchased it... that channel is messed up.. not meant for trance...:whip:
Wretched
Black people like to sit around and whine about how white people hold them down all the time rather than accepting the ing fact that slavery ended a century ago. It's ing mind-boggling how far they will go to portray themselves as the victims. Ten white guys get shot by white cops and nobody bats an eye. Yet the second a white cop shoots a black guy the entire black community is up in arms - Jesse Jackson rides in, whips out his deck of race cards and musters the support of his "people" to stroke his ego a bit more. Guess what, ******s, there are black racists too, but you don't see white people whining about it all the time. I don't have anything wrong with black people AT ALL until they flaunt their victim mentality, which seems to be inherent to their kind. Then I get aggravated, because it's TOTALLY ING BASELESS.

Yes I'm in a ty mood.

Bpmtv was a dance channel that played mostly EDM whether it be trance, Euro, Psytrance, D&B, Techno, etc., etc.
But some politiking happened and the Program Director was forced to quit, then they fired the DJ who was the music director. Originally it was all EDM videos, with DJ interview, etc. Now what happened is that the upper head brought in family who took over as music director. All of a sudden, we start seeing 50cents, Pink and Britney listed on the top20 dance chart, beside Paul Van Dyke, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten. I mean WTF--they r 2 different styles. How can anyone mistake Pink's radio/video version of "God is a DJ" as a dance tune. Not to mention that they now play 3 new shows all focusing on (1) Urgan Groove - hosted by ex Much Music Guy Dalton, (2) Hip Hop Nation - take a guess what they r about, (3) Dance Moves - that teach how to dance Hip Hop Moves only.
So in our effort to make the owners aware we disapproved of the changes, we voiced out. What's coming out now is this nasty type of posting by ppl that are calling us Eurotrash.

So what wud u do--wouldn't u voice out to save your music. I mean we all banded together in TO for the Rave Rally. Why wud u not do it for your dance channel?

trance was invented in goa, india.... and african-americans werent there when it all started.. so what are you trying to teach us here? i might be wrong, but as far as im concerned, it all started in goa, india....... i also heard once that it started in isreal, so i guess its either goa or isreal.. and there werent any african-americans in isreal at that time either....
