what do you guys think? personally, i think this contest won't truly represent the GREATEST canadian... for instance, oscar peterson may be the greatest canadian to the music world, but not everyone else. so i dunno if there is truly an objective way to determine the greatest canadian...
also, some of the greatest canadians ever are slipping away from the minds of the people... i mean, there are some people out there who really don't know who john a macdonald is. i can't say i know of all the great canadians through history, but i know quite a few.
i think everyone from mississauga should nominate hazel mccallion... i can't believe she didn't make it to their list. |

This question is totally objective :conf: Really how can you pick one person above all others who is the greatest person. Perhaps if they had a greatest person in a given field then maybe some kind of consensus could be reached. However, trying to choose someone to be labeled something so vague is ridiculous. My vote would go to Casey and Finnegan from Mr. Dress Up or the creator of Trailer Park Boys.
