Milan showed their true colors over the week, first the 4-0 humiliation in Deportive, then barely scraping by Empoli with a llllaaaaattttteee penalty kick at that (so it wasn't even from play). If you ask me, Milan drop 3 before the season's over. Roma performs same and Juve goes for 3 in a row!!!
As for Arsenal, yeah the win over Liverpool was emphatic. Well boo all you want but Arsenal lose the next two or three, to get it to just a point lead, then on the last weekend Chelsea takes over the top spot and wins it in dramatic fashion.
Ohh yeah, Porto will win the CL, just watch. If you see this team play it's like a computer. They work so well together. I'd much rather have a team like this than a bunch of individual stars who have no idea what team means (*cough* Real Madrid *cough*) |

or you could learn a thing or two.
arsenal is still unbeaten in the premiership and the thing that made real great is their ability to play as a team with all them induvidual stars. |

can we stop talking about them unbeaten?? i in hate that...
Millwall is unbeaten in the FA-cup so what?:tongue2
fact is that Arsenal loose the gold without loosing in the premierleague...and i dont see that as a positive thing! |

| When Madrid had Makelele bolstering the midfield, Figo/Guti/Zidane/Carlos etc were given more freedom. They didn't need to play as a team, their individual class meant they could beat a man, combined with slick passing and movement and a quality finish. They could rely on Makelele to be disciplined and read the game well, break up opposition counter-attacks etc. Many Madrid fans still don't rate him because he didn't have the silky skills and didn't score goals. But now they have a midfield full of attacking class but one which offers no protection to the centre backs. Considering their full backs like to get forward as well, is it any surprise the centre backs can't cope? |

wow dude you sound like a regular know it all ... i wish i had the ability to predict the outcomes with such confidence as you
but heres wat i think neways :-
the italian and english leagues are pretty much sealed up... arsenal are done playing the top 6 sides and there remaining games are against leeds, fulham, birmingham , tottenham, leicester and portsmouth and it would take a really really stupid man to bet against them now considering that chelsea still have to play away games at united and newcastle.
As far as Milan, its bull how ppl think a club is gonna lose everything by just looking at one bad week and forgetting about the fact that they are sitting 9 points clear. IMO putting the last 10 days aside Milan have been the only team besides arsenal that has managed to play consistent football this year and it would take more than a disaster for them to lose the scudetto now with just 5 games remaining(6 for roma).
The only league thats wide open is the spanish liga and there i would have to agree with you that Madrid are fuct and although the other contenders(deportivo and Barca) have found some fantastic form lately, the deficit is to large to claw back with so few games remaining so its up to madrid to buckle up if they want to stand ne chance of winning a trophy this season.
not that i care much but the Bundesliga and french league also looks set for interesting finishes ... |

I beg to differ. The thing that made them great is Thierry Henry
And Robert Pires....... |

alot of english footie fans on TA ehh??
I'm a Juve fan meself - you know what sux, we had Henry a few years back and let him go, and now everyone wants Henry... Maybe that's why I have such passionate hate for tha Gunnas!!!!
In any case, Arsenal is unbeaten in Premiership and does have the most goals for and least against. But guess what? Do you believe in miracles!!! Mickleson won his first major. UConn swept NCAA hoops. And Arsenal will drop the Premiership.
As for Milan, 9 points is crap in Italy. The year that Lazio won the Serie A...I think 2000 don't quote me on that tho. Juve had an 8 point lead going into the last 7 games of the season. They managed to draw 2, lose one. Had 1 pt lead going into final game of season and dropped it to Udinese to give Lazio (or maybe it was Roma) the title by 2 points, I think this situation will happen again. Italy's season is never over until it's over. |
