TBC: Tiesto at AVALON JUNE 12 ?!?

I gotta say i am not very happy about this venue choice at all but the info is coming from someone with inside avalon sources but once again is NOT 100% confirmed.

SATURDAY JUNE 12TH
ADVANCE TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT WWW.NEXTTICKETING.COM STARTING MAY 1ST.
There is no way in hell avalon can handle the tiesto crowd. I mean avalon on a reg sat night is bad enough, you can barely in move let alone dance but now handling tiesto - i just really cant see it happening. Im still crossing my fingers this is bogus and will be another made at the roxy production but its looking doubtful as of now. roxy is really the best place imo for the big names, its a no hassle place and its got a big enough floor. i really dont know how i feel about this. |

if avalon held SASHA on NEW YEARS EVE, they can certainly hold tiesto
i like avalon better than roxy anyway...so it doesnt matter to me! |

| gotta say that Tiesto @ Limelight was his best NYC set. but unfortunately Avalon is not like the Limelight. this is gonna be insane. i'm getting VIP tickets and getting there at 10pm. it's my birthday too. :) |

| I enjoy Avalon's venue, but it will be so tight for Tiesto...and anybody who knows anything about sounds quality will agree that Avalon's sound system is horrible. |

| IMO anyone who has a b-day on a night like that deserves to meet the DJ, him and whoever he's with. I did when Ferry played @ Avalon got my picture taken with him and he signed a 20, wish he woulda signed something else but none of us had something better so i settled for that. |

Maybe I should get a free VIP dj booth pass for that hehe.
But I know Tijs, we go way back haha. I met him at this very same club over 3 years ago when he was just walking around before his set and I was one of the few people to recognize him. After that we've e-mailed and I've talked to him in Amsterdam, PR and DC. Still the same nice guy from 2001, but with a much busier and hectic lifestyle now. |
