| All the post-season teams have played their first Round 1 game, any changes in opinions or predictions? So far no suprises really, all the better placed teams won their first game, but that is probably partially due to the fact that they have homecourt advantage. |

| I'm not a big b-ball fan except in High school and in college, but I think San Antonio will repeat as champs. |

| I reckon the Kings are gonna sneak it. They've got the depth in the squad and Webber has come back strong. Although, I wouldn't totally disregard any of the major teams. |

| Lakers always seem to win so I think they will probably pull it off again this year. Do i want them to win? Nope. I'd like to see Sacramento or Dallas win it. |

I voted Pacers -- Reggie finally gets his championship.
You guys failed to realize that the Pacers have a great record against all of playoff teams in the west. Plus they have home court throughout the playoffs. That's gonna be big.
In the west I think Dallas or Sacto will come out. As long as its not the Lakers. |

They also lost in the first round last year....(to Boston, of all teams)
Regular season record doesn't always mean anything, same with Minnesota. They wooped ass in the playoffs, but never in franchise history made it past the first round. That, of course, is going to change this time, and surely the Pacers will get further than round 1. But despite their record, I dont think the Pacers have what it takes to be champs, the Timberwolves might ;) |

| On the east I think the best team is the Pistons. They have stifling defence and with wallace as an addition, coach brown, and richard hamilton and chauncey billups they got some big offensive weapons as well. The only downside to them is they don't a big man that can go against teams like the Lakers or Spurs IMO. |

I dont think Detroit has enough to win it this year, but I do think they will face the Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals. However they will be so beat up after a rough series with New Jersey that they won't have enough in the tank.
I know I'm biased cuz the Pacers are my favorite team but they have enough offence and the best one on one defender in the league (Artest) to defend anybody on Detroit or New Jersey.
The west however is a crapshoot. |

With Bobby Jackson out for the year that changes everything. Kings were my favorite to win it all, but no longer will they even make the Western Conference Finals. They're still gonna kill Dallas, though.
I still like the Pacers to win with no real trouble in the East and play the Spurs or Lakers. I love the T-Wolves but Olowokandi will get eaten by Shaq and Payton/Fisher will nullify Cassell, but they may have a chance to beat the Spurs if San Antonio takes out LA. |
