what to do in LA. staying there for nearly a week on May

i'm sure there are tons to do there. but i haven't been to LA for about 13 years now. i'm going there for the E3 convention but i'm sure we are going to visit it 2 times for about 2-3 hours each time and that leaves us with nothing else to do.
so i'm asking is that what are some nice or good clubs (dance or whatever club) to go to. nothing like clubs that only celebs are high profile rich pricks can enter only. something for the public.
what are good places to visit? and what are some nice hot stripclubs to go to. i know scores might be a good one but i bet the lap dances are like 200 bucks each. don't have that kind of money to shed for bitches. what about spearmint rhino. i think that is what is called. i'm not sure.
so all u LA natives or LA veterans help me out and gimme some pointers on how to survive and have fun in LA with my buds. thanks |

thanks montie for some pointers. what is your radio station? what are radio stations there that plays dance music? i will promise i will check it out.
yeah i too heard spearmint rhino has hotties. i'm going there on may 10th through the 15th. just 5 days. monday through saturday.

its the radio station here at USC
there isn't any radio station here anymore that is dedicated to playing dance music 24/7
there are many stations that play dance music late at nite (i don't really know which ones tho except for 106.3 on sat nite)

well i got into E3 cause i use to work at the video game store Gamestop. just turned in a copy of my tax stub and id and that is it. got my pass. i just have to get my badge now. so process |

| It really depends on what you like doing. There's amusement parks (Disneyland, Knott's, Six Flags Magic Mountain), you could go to Santa Monica and hang out at the pier, SPUNDAE like Montie mentioned would be awesome, dont miss out on that. Lots of good malls and places to eat and shop in the LA area. Farmer's market on 3rd and Fairfax has AWESOME food. Oh yeah and for kicks go to the Beverly Center Mall and visit Bloomingdale's for some female eye candy. A couple of my friends work there and Britney Spears comes in quite a bit, as well as Wynona Ryder and Kate Hudson. A couple of friends of mine work at the Bloomingdale's in Newport Beach. Hugh Heffner visits that one, and Kobe Bryant came in once. One of my friends saw him and laughed at him. He walked out all pissed off. I guess he wasn't too thrilled about that... |

yeah i don't think i'm going to any amusement parks. just maybe catch some glimpse of celeb life. i heard concorde, white lotus, and another club is getting lots of celebs all the time. maybe i can hang out near those clubs. i ain't going in them though cause i know i can't. so yeah i'll check out those eateries too.
is there like shows they give out free tickets to be a guest? sure there is alot of them but i don'tknow which ones i can get a hold of |

| lol. i cant believe no one has as yet mentioned the beaches heheh..if you're an outdoors person theres tons of beaches to choose from. spundae is a must, its 21+ tho. dont forget to check out the sunset strip as well on saturday nights. a buddy of mine is a promoter, and he can prolly get you on the guestlist for all those clubs you mentioned...so just pm me when you get here and i'll tell you abt whats happening in town :D also check out www.citysearch.com for places to see |

| i know it sounds kinda shallow but i want to know what people are wearing there in LA. not the usual hollywood star what they wear but normal average peeps. what is popular and all. |
