I just saw Kill Bill vol. 2 (pg. 2)

I also just got back from seeing it, and thought it was better than the first one. While the action isn't as long or stylish, it's pretty damn intense. In fact, I thought the whole movie was considerably more intense than the first. The second one did a really good job of adding a plot to the senseless violence of vol 1. Not that I have anything against senseless violences, but a plot is cool.
Something I was thinking about: all the siblings/death squad have names that are or are pronounced as a letter. B = Beatrix (The Bride), L = Elle (Eyepatch), O = O-ren Ishii (Asian). Something gives me the feeling the names spell something out. Could be wrong on that though. |

I just saw Kill Bill 2 tonight as well. I loved it, better movie then the first in my opinion.
Those of you who complain that Kill Bill 2 sucked because of the lack of action compared to the first one, go watch Ballastic : Ecks Vs Sever and tell me what a action film is without a plot. .
Kill Bill 1 was the majority of the action, Kill Bill 2 is the storyline. The story matching with the action sequences is pretty damn good, better then the matrix trilogy story.
Either way, the Kill Bill series is sweet, shows why Quentin Tarantino is one of the best directors of our time. |

i think i'm alone here but i think kill bill is crap. total crap. maybe also because i hate the whole anime stuff.
i consider the first one to be a total bore and the violence was done in horrible taste. very immature cartonnish. the 2nd one i heard is less action more crap.
but so far kill bill would be one of the movies that i have seen thas has been hyped but ended up crap |

well if this is the only movie with big hype that you haven't liked, your opinion won't hold much water with the people who like tarantino. because most tarantino fans (that i know anyway) don't like most mainstream hyped stuff. he has a dry sense of humour that many just don't get. |

Aldrian, alot of your posts has been on the negative side. Are you like one of the biggest haters on TA or what? chill the out dude.
I love tarantino movies because their unique, he throws many different movie styles into this kill bill series, including anime, alot of retro camera sequences, with alot of retro themed scenes. Adds some japanese/chinese movie style into it with the 2nd movie. Honestly, he knows how to mix good movie styles together well. |

saw vol 2 on friday, it was awesome, especially love the "Elle and I" chapter hehe
i enjoyed vol 1 more but both movies are extraordinarily great go watch em if u haven't
and as always when u read posts on TA, keep in mind all the haters/negative commentators that post here who often seem to put things down just for the sake of doing so |

OK i think i heard the funniest joke i've yet heard this year...
it was kinda quick and not too many people laughed, but i seriously couldnt contain myself, i was laughing so hard and so long
the joke was when bill's brother (bubba?) said: "you're about as useless as an here -pointing at his elbow-"

I've really enjoyed the Kill Bill serries. Definitly owning this one when it comes out. Alot explained in the second, alot more depth, development.. Those who said Vol 1 had no "plot" would be rather suprised with this one IMO.

i though the first was alot better, much more interesting to watch, better script. This one, regardless of how long it took them to make, seemed rushed. I liked the anime and all the newonces{spl?] in the first one much better. |
