Can't wait to see this movie. Just saw Volume 1 last night and it was pure ownage. Love how the movie get's serious at times (the soundtrack is awesome), then she goes and cuts some guys arm off with gallons of blood rushing out :haha: . Movie has so much variety in it, anime part ruled!
I love Tarantino's style! Pulp Fiction is an all time classic, right up there with Scar Face. |

I'm probably in the majority when I say that the Pai Mei Chapter is just bloooody awesome LOL !!!! typical HK cinema was used and the best element of all was the old school camera zooms!!!!
There were a few scenes where Pai Mei would laugh or say something with powerful emotion, and it was only after he said/laughed that the camera zoomed into he's face to capture the intensity - this technique was used commonly in the old school 70's era, and to uplift the use today was pure genious and harlious @ the same time! KUDOS TO QT!
One of the best cinematic experiences I've ever had. :) |

i didnt like this, liked the 1st alot but the 2nd was erm boring, way too much talking, not enough action, not enough cool stuff happening.

| Look people, it's NOT a sequel. It was made as ONE film, split into 2 parts. So when you say you don't like "part 2", what you're really saying is you don't like the ending/rest of the story. Jeez, research your Tarantino, folks. |

ok then, the first 'half' of the movie was great but the 2nd 'half' was boring |

My only beef with the movie was the apparent level of intoxication Bill was at when he took his last few steps.. why did he get so hammered? :thepirate But boring? The movie was not. Eye snatching/squishing, saltrock blasts to the chest, Black Mambas, PAI ING MEI, buried alive, and one helluva hot leading fembot. :stongue:

Vol. 2 is overhyped trash, Vol. 1 was only saved by the extreme violence and great cinematography...
Mind you, it is a lot better than the usual garbage at the theatre these days - which mainly consists of flicks where creativity is sidelined and the goal becomes how much $$ the studio can make from it. |
