I get panic attacks often when i'm blazed, stoned out of my mind. Nowadays I just like getting "high". When I smoke really good , I start panicing over my high heart-rate while being stoned off my ass, acting paranoid as . Just getting too stoned gets me way too paranoid.
this started after i had my first real panic attack from tachycardia. crazy from a mixture of tea, red bull, coca-cola, a frappachino, lack of sleep(was up for 30 hrs) and smoking weed.
My heart rate was in the 300bpm range when i went to urgent care.. Kinda scary.
It sucks now because every time I get really stoned, i start freaking out thinking i'll have a relapse of that one incident.. I can do E, coke, shrooms.. practically every drug, except tweak of course, but my passion for smoking bud. It sucks. |

hey, i'm in college and doing well in school. at least that counts :D
Obviously since my panic attacks, I've laid off the drugs a bit less. I can't smoke alot of weed. Out of all "recreational" drugs, it was my daily favorite, but I can't smoke that much anymore or i start panicing.
I don't do coke, can't afford it. XTC only once every 6 or so months. But I haven't done X in 8 months. I'm waiting until summer, at ibeefa, hopefully :) |

Alright. I'm the only serious person here. I don't care but I'll share. I had a panic attack once. Only for a rational reason. I was hypervenalating because my softball coach was calling everyone last year, and was like telling you if you made it or not. I was like christ, this is "who wants to be a millionaire." or some crap like that. Anyway, "camp jim" lol I don't know. I was hypervenalating, and I was like I couldn't breathE. The only other time I had a panic attack was when I saw heinz, he took my breath away.;) and I couldn't stand. Other than that, man...it s you up. btw, i'm the greatest, so find out the answer to the call;) |
that's not a panic attack...if you read the accounts of the other people you'll get more of a sense of what it is. a panic attack comes on for no particular reason. its not temporary anxiety over whether or not you made the team. |

that's not a panic attack. thats close to one, but panic attacks are scary as hell.
you can't understand why your tripping out so hard, its random and very, very dramatic if your having it yourself. |

| Hmm, it happened to me once as an unexpected side effect of some ty over-the-counter medication. It's not a pleasant experience, but you get over it, you move on, and you're fine. I found that as soon as I realized it was just a panic attack it went away pretty quick. |

Lmao, people are saying that trancepixie didn't have a panic attack. That's funny. In fact, she was the only person in this thread who actually had a panic attack except maybe for the thread starter because he doesn't say what caused his attack.
Floorfiller: You've been misinformed. Panic attacks are not random or spontaneous occurrences. They are caused by intense anxiety, hence why they are sometimes called 'Anxiety Attacks'. Trancepixies situation was indeed enough to cause a panic attack, and by all appearences it did.
What the other people in this thread described were seizures caused by drugs or heart problems. |

| One panic attack is no reason to go to the doctor and get on meds. If it happens frequently, then go see the doctor, otherwise just chalk it up as an "exhilarating experience". |

no chance, I got professionally diagnosed at urgent care that I had an "anxiety" or "panic" attack. :D
Why? Because when I was under the influence of drugs, I was in an intense anxiety and panicing state. In any case, even if I still had the high heart-rate and junk, I wouldn't of had a panic attack if I was more calm about it. But I was freaking out that I thought I was gunna die or have a heart attack. I was praying at one moment because I was so paranoid about my heart. |

Well all I knew before was that you took some drugs an had an attack, so thanks for clearing it all up for me.
Really I was just trying to explain panic attacks and that trancepixie's situation was enough to cause one, whether she actually had one or not. :D |

At any rate, my main point was that trancepixie had a panic attack. |
See possibly must of, but hers seemed so temporary compared to what I go through when I have panic attacks :happy2: |
