Clubbers at UCLA

| In an attempt to reach fellow TA's in a school where pretty much everyone listens to the same , who here goes to UCLA and is active in the local scene? I know there are a few ppl that post that go to USC! Cheers to them! Seriously man, i thought this school would have a big electronic music influence but it turns out i was wrong. I've only met one guy into electronic music as much as I am and he's a prog/house dj. |

i go to UCB and u'd think there'd be quite a few ppl into EDM but sadly to say it's not so.
most ppl hear listen to the usual crap
I'm probably the only student at Cal who's registered on TA and I'm definately sure I'm the most knowledgeable about EDM in the whole campus, how lame. |

I've met plenty of people from Cal and UCLA that are into this genre. The only hard part is discovering / finding those that are into it. This music isn't like commercialized music where you can blatantly tell which people like what.. with EDM.. it's not as obvious. Electronic music fans also tend to be more relaxed people.. so they aren't as upfront with their musical tastes. When have you seen a person go up to another person and srtraight up say "Do you like Trance?" Pretty rare. Only tip of advice I can give you is: ATTEMPT HARDER!

edit Disregarding what I said earlier.. I AM pretty upfront with my musical tastes. Often times you'll see me bumping tunes louder than any cars in my surrounding :D |
