has anybody tried buying this "information" to get a high-priced product for cheap? I've seen quite a few of these around, and they claim that its not a pyramid scheme or any sort of scam . . . how does it work?

Probably gives you a sweepstakes form or something...

99% chance it's a scam.

Most of those are a scam. Pay 'X' amount of dollars for a booklet that teaches you how to get a laptop for $100 bucks. Seems alittle far fetched.

I actually bought this once just to see what its about. It tells you how to get free samples from companys, it can actually work but usually the companys wont respond unless you can prove you have a retail store or something. I did make some decent cash reselling the information on ebay though :)

The instructions proly go something like this. Walk into your local Best Buy, pick out the goods you want. Take it off the shelf. Walk out without paying. Then run like hell. LOL
