Paul van Dyk-For an Angel (pg. 2)

PvD once said that to him the most important aspect of a song is the atmosphere it creates. With that in mind, I think that each of his songs has a different purpose, a different feeling or environment that Paul is trying to bring across, so it's difficult to compare them. I think Face to Face connects with me most on an emotional level. Paul's most energetic track in my opinion is definitely Avenue.

Exactly. For some reason everytime I hear that track in a club it just takes me to cloud 9....amazing feeling. It's like it has some weird subliminal messages :nervous:

well maybe no one will agree with my choice but it doesn't matter ...all the previous songs are great tracks ....but i think one of the best track is beautiful place (2003) ....or maybe that's just me but this song when i hear it makes me feel so happy i dunno why ....but i agree with what someone said previously pvd really creates * magical * atmosphere so melodic or no ....maybe it's not the good word for it but at least it creates something special !

Words(for love) and Autumn are Pvd's best tracks...

the track in itself is actually pretty simple to break down. its not very complex, but yea, it just draws so much emotion. if you look at the production of crush, its much more complicated and intricate. i think out of all of his tracks it would have to be words, or beautiful place. his seven ways cd which featured both of those tracks, is what really got me into trance.

Paul van Dyk - Face To Face (Piano Mix) :eyespop:

One of the most beautiful tracks that anyone has ever written.

GrimReaper
Words (For Love) and Forbidden Fruit are my PvD favs. Third one might be Original '94 Mix of For An Angel, not the '98 E-Werk Club Mix.

Also Face To Face and Autumn are up there, as been mentioned many times.

whats ur opinion?

Hmmm, it'd have to be my number one but I agree with the others. Mainly because of the recognition of it as soon as you hear it anywhere it's instantly recognisable and you know its gonna kick ass.

Did anyone ever like The Riddle (Tell Me Why)? I really liked that one but I don't think many people did?
