Lights don't make a night for me...The Music does.

the system matters, but without lighting its weak...

Heh, you're talking about Avalon's lighting system like there's nothing there Sandstorm. Even now at a "low" point in its performance, it still has pretty impressive LED bars, a 20 foot tall fiber-optic wall, 2 dozen intelligent lights, hanging video screen, and a ton of traditional colored flood lights.

I still like it more than the lighting system at Roxy, which is just way too low and in your eyes for the most part.

By Armin van Buuren and Tiesto time, I'm guessing they'll have the monstrous laser up and working, even more intelligent lights, and maybe even the movable truss system going again. When it's in full swing, Avalon Boston's light show is really tough to beat!

I've been going since October 2002. I know you don't mean just the laser but it will put the whole visual display above the rest. I was at Roxy and wasn't impressed with the lights.I don't really care that much about the lights at clubs. They add to the music, you don't go to a club to see a light show.

pvd @ roxy/armin @ roxy, had different lighting :)...hate to tell you...

Avalons sound has to also get tuned again...

Yan
Summerstage's light system was by far my most amazing lighting experience.
sandstorm03
