Id dug the mr sam and fred baker remix for a VERY long time now. And the Marco v Remix is stunning

| Alphabet City are releasing a remix package too, Marc et Claude and Cosmic Gate are on remix duties there. The CG remix is quite good surprisingly, an unusually subtle production by CG's standards, while at the same time providing lots of punch and drive to keep the dancefloor moving. |

| Mr. Sam's name should have gotten etched out of the pressing for it is indeed Fred de Backer who is the true talent behind his productions. Amazingly it still suprises me why Mr. Sam is accredited with so much while he does absolutely nothing to deserve such recognition! The title should read Fred Baker remix .. nothing else. |

Haven't purchased the new mixes yet because i'm waiting for React's release with amazing Wrecked Angle Remix. It will most likely come out later next month (hopefully).
Already have Jam & Spoon's both mixes (Watch Out For Stella/Sign Of The Times) on 12", have had since '92 but just got a new copy to replace the old and scratched one, and i must say none of the other mixes i've heard still can't top their Watch Out For Stella Mix.
Marco V remix isn't anything special IMO but the "Fred Baker Remix" is a very nice update of the '92 classic.
Oh yes, about the "Fred Baker Remix", i remember reading somewhere what Fred said about him and Mr Sam breaking up with producing together mainly because Sam always taking all the credits even if he knows Fred is the mastermind behind the works. |
