| I know you say you want 'mostly trance' but I think you should definitely get some Way out West on there...Liquid Child - Diving Faces (Way out West Mix), perhaps. :p |

trance is just the first step.... seems easiest to introduce.

My cousin who is 9 years old likes trance and he asked me for a cd to give to a friend of his at school in his 3rd grade class. I figured I might as well instill some trance for future generations so I gave him Matt Hardwick's November Promo. I felt it was a pretty good representation but fluffy enough for noobs. I figure if they don't like real trance as opposed to cheesy commercial stuff, oh well, it will continue to remain underground. |
I think future of trance is in the young people (ages 11-17)...If we dont help spread trance trough young people it will all ways be underground.Yeah i know it sounds cheesy but its true. Its much easier to influence a 11 yr old than a 22 yr old.Yes i know what ur thinking we dont wont the younglins at parties:I KNOW
Its really hard to influnce older ppl usually they all ready made up there minds.Either the like it or they hate it.So i dont bother trying. When my lil bothers friends come over..i usally play some kick ass trance. They usally come and ask me "what is that ur playing" So i burn them a CD for them to take. And they usally come back for more.
ThanKS For SPREADING TRANCE..Dj Coz |

Tweek has a point. Unfortunately, that doctrine was also shared by the Nazis (Hitler Youth). Great way to ruin the mood (of the thread), but it worked (the Hitler Youth made a whole bunch of little Nazis out of children...), so I bet showing the little ones Trance would have a similar effect.
mndeg: Yeah, young' uns like cheese, so why not take advantage of it? Start the kids off with cheese, then gradually ween them off of it and into stuff like PVD, Oakie, etc. Sort of like how a baby has to be weened off of breastmilk to the regualar stuff. |

Great news guys, my 9 year old cousin called me today and said his friend (I presume he's also 9), liked the Matt Hardwick mix I gave him and wants MORE TRANCE! I plan on giving him Filo & Peri Subtraxx Experience from Dec. 7 2003. I agree with you TweeK that's why I'm so glad I can instill some of this music in the next generation. I look back when I was in the 3rd grade and I was damn impressionable. Even if they like cheese at this age, when they get a little older, if they get sick of the cheese they will remember what I gave them.
I don't mind following in the footsteps of the Germans because I'm just promoting trance not killing jews. I'm not worried they will party because my little cousin knows I don't drink and he always brags how he's gonna be like me and not drink. :) I also played lots of trance when my 2 year old niece was visiting so hopefully that will affect her a little. She was dancing to it, really cute. |
