Personally I think U2 are absolute e, almost as bad and over-rated as The Beatles.

the beatles are to Rock 'n Roll as Bach was to Classical.
they revolutionized music for our era. almost all rock bands today are in someway an imitation of the beatles, no band has had such a strong influence as the beatles in the past 100 years |

It's hard to step up to the Beatles, cause they set the highest podium ever that would be hard to match in todays music world. Now while they represent the rock n' roll world, there are many bands that could possibly be contested as most influential of todays music in the past 100 years, but nothing as mainstream or catchy as The Beatles. |
