I think Simpsons have lost their luster, they use to be great, but that all changed when futurama came along.
Futurama and Family Guy are the funnist cartoons they've shown on Fox imo. I was glad to hear that Family Guy was coming back, maybe Futurama will come back via cartoon network as they already show all the reruns on adult swim...I can dream anyways.

afaik cartoon network does not have the money to buy new episodes :(
but i still hope, there will be new episodes...! |

| apart from the 'dads' being similar in character, the characters are completely different. Storylines are totally different, and it's funnier by far. Simpsons is a family show. fin. |

The Simpsons should have been retired around 1999 when within a season or two the humour level seemed to have contracted some form of fatal cancer!! Its just pathetic now
As for family guy, there were a some episodes that were kinda dry, but all in all the show is hilarious. Peter OWNS Homer! well, at least the recent Homer |

Werd. It's ridiculous now. The humour used to be quite subtle and clever, and there used to be a certain level of "realism" to the program. Now the humour is dumb and blatent, and they play waaaay to much off Homer's stupidity. I hate it now. I don't even watch it. If it were up to me I would have loved them to have stopped at series 8, possibly 9 at most, as after this is when it all started to go downhill...
For me, Futurama is where it's at. The humour is just priceless and one of a kind that you just can't get from any other cartoon; I could just watch it forever.  |
