How can U2 be "the greatest band ever" they have been milking the same crappy lyrics, bass lines and guitar riffs for years. No innovation.
And how "beautiful day" got chosen as the "Official 9-11 song" i have no fawking clue. If anything it should have been Foo Fighters "Hero". |

I'm a bit biased, but I'd choose:
Godspeed You! Black Emperor |
fnally somebody else who knows them :D
Their music is the soundtrack of the apocalypse, simply genious. |

| Eddie N MIAMI |
METALLICA

but nirvana led the grunge movement |
who cares if nirvana headed the grunge movement. a hundered bands led a 100 movements, not that i dont like nirvana, but just because a band leads a movment doesent mean there good. the grunge movement was one o fthe worst times for music period, it was depressing music that did nothing but put you in a bad mood, it went from metal in the 80s which was about life and the fun that can be had and then BOOM, right into a depressing music, i hate grunge |

how was it one of the worst times in music period when nirvana and pearl during that time were the world's biggest bands and everyone was into grunge...yeah you might've not liked it but to call it the worst period in music is moronic...how was it the worst period when nirvana's "Nevermind" sold 10 million records, Pearl Jam sold more than 20 million records combined from their cds, soundgarden sold 10 million, alice in chains etc etc...face it MTV loved it and everyone was into it and grunge defined most of the 90s whether you like or not |
