Here's a song:
4 Strings - Diving.
The full vocal version, somewhat cheesy, but mainly, PLAYED OUT on 93.1 down here.
Now the instrumental one.....PvD threw that down @ Columbiahallen in '02....now THAT was sweet.
I say to make songs less cheesy, leave in very few or no vocals at all. Make them faint or echo. |

'I would follow you, follow you in the meadow where you go and what you do, follow you.'
I presume this female is talking about a bloke. To be quite frank, I'm worried about what this bloke does in the meadow and leading this poor girl astray.
I'm only kidding, but this line does sound, so corny.
If you want evidence of masterful lyric writing, look no further than the bible of Scooter Scooter's Bible Of Lyrics
We can truly learn the art of lyric writing, from a true masters. Maybe I'm a sarcastic b*stard, but I'm not going to change. |
:stongue:
I'm pretty sure it says "...and no matter where you go and what you do". :p |

It makes more sense that she did say that. With these foreign singers you can hardly tell what they are saying, anyway that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. :o |

That's the funniest post i've read in a long time. Also i looked at the scooter page. What's disturbing is it took 4 ppl to write those lyrics. :nervous:
ZEBRAS CROSSING THE STREET
Leaving the whole week behind,
stop the trouble, open your mind.
Is this the life you want to live?
Clear up your mind, zebras crossing the street,
loosing control, everything is in your hand.
Running around, down the street,
buying some frozen food, put it in a fridge.
I want you back for the rhythm attack, coming down on the floor like a maniac
I want you back for the rhythm attack, get down in full effect!
I want you back for the rhythm attack, coming down on the floor like a maniac
I want you back, so clean up the dish
By the way, How much is the fish ?!! |
I was looking for 'Sun Decade' song lyrics and came across the song lyrics for 'Scooter'. They're hilarious some of them. It's a perfect example of what drugs can do, no people in their right mind could have possibly wrote these lyrics.
It would be piss funny for people to analyse and find some meaning. :haha: |

| Dubs/Instrumentals should be mandatory on all vocal releases. |

| I take it you're assuming there are trance songs out there with lyrics that aren't cheesy. |

I have the perfect way to make a song super cool and NOT Cheesy.
Just through into the Lyrics:
"Shout out to the man in the ice cream van" or "Siberia the place to be" and your a sure hit! :toothless |
ROFLMAO!!!!!
Cass & Slide - Perception (Vocal Mix) shouldn't evengo near the cheddar category, that tune is nigh on sacred! |

| I really don't think that Mindcircus and Southern Sun are made of cheese. |

James Holden - Nothing (93 Returning Mix)
you hardly make any sense of the lyrics (well at least a large part of it) but they are so well blended with the music that make the result totally beautiful. This is how vocals should be, the vocals shouldn't be the guiding element in the track but the actual tune! |
