Well, it depends on the person. But yeah most people seem to just type lol for the of it, but don't laugh at all.
Now the more interesting question is, have any of you ever said "lol" in real life? I haven't myself, but if you did, then you sir, have a problem. :toothless

I usually refrain from typing lol unless something actually makes me laugh. I think it's wank to use it all the time, even after that's not funny (like a lot of people do.) If someone says 'LOLzor' or something dumb and they expect you to laugh in return, I'll usually hit them with a 'heh' |
