I thought "hehe" was different than "heh", the latter being some sort of sigh.

hehe always seems like girly giggling to me, which is why I don't do it, but in essence it's the same as heh. It's just another way of expressing (mild) amusement at something online. |

I don't think it's girly. "hihi" (pronounced "hee hee") is the girly version.
