And as for labour council surely there is no coincidence that the 10 most failing local council are all labour. |
There is another way of looking at that. The regions with strongest Labour support were those most neglected by the Tories. A few years later it's no surprise these are still difficult areas. |

labour as they are pretty much the best of a bad lot. tories ain't got a clue and never really have since thatcher, even though that clue was used entirely the wrong way into how to govern a country such as ours. labour have undone all the crap she did and lib dem policy is weak as piss.

Some of the damage done by the Tories can't be repaired. My town has never recovered since the closure of its shipyards and unemployment is high.
People say that towns like this need to 'move on', but how can they? Skilled industrial labour is going to waste unemployed whilst there is no investment in anything to replace it. Sadly its a town which centres itself around the jobcentre and I have to say I can't see that changing for a long time, whoever is in charge. |

I would like the option of remaining in the eu for trading links that's about it. I think europe should keep the out of stuff that really hasn't got all to do with them eg law however the only choice seems to be all in or all out which I don't bealive is what the people want. |

i agree, council tax should be replaced by a higher income tax, but a) that has nothing to do with the european elections :p , and b) it would take legislation from a national government to change council tax like that unfotunatly :/
i still like the idea of jeffs party :toothless |
shoulda read the thread properly :p |
