Way out West any good live?

Nick and Jody are coming to town and was wondering if anyone has seen time live. I've liked some of their productions/remixes, and was wondering the verdict on their performance. They're doing a live PA, whatever that means.
Any insight would be appreciated.

| Jody is a superb DJ. But yes their Live PA will be just as good. Go indeed. |

Live PA is closer to a "traditional" concert, in that they'll likely have synthesizers to jam on, a singer (Oni?)... guitars maybe ;)? I don't know the WOW specifics. Someone can fill in the blanks here.
What does PA stand for again? Performance Art? |

| A DJ set will be where they mix records via turntables and cd decks. A Live PA is where they will perform their own tracks live to the audience through keyboards and synthesisers etc. I personally prefer DJ set's as these Live PA's are often quite a con imo. Like not much of it will actually be performed live, and most of it already recorded.. each to their own i guess. Either way if you appreciate good music you'll have a good time. |

WAy Out West PA is usually
first hour being jodyand nick DJ Set...
then the songs come on
last one in NYC with Omi was rather decent but her voice was overshadowed by them music a few times hope u dont get the same thing but it was still fun.,... u gotta be a fan of there music though the live PA is always so club oriented.... |

well I'm gonna get in for free so there's nothing to lose. Well 7$ a drink, gas and parking $. But Way out West - The Fall has been one of my favorite choons for a long time. Hope they play that. Plus i'm sure they'll be playing the stuff off the forthcoming album so it'll be good to hear.
and if nothing else it just adds another top name to list of DJ's I've seen. |
