what a wonderful night. I was impressed with every TA DJ last night- you guys certainly rose to the occassion!
A huge thank you to john and Emery who made this night and this whole year of incredible nights happen. You guys put your heart and soul into this. John: you took a huge risk on this a year ago- i have nothing but love and respect for you!
and another thing: it is so awesome to see what a tight unit the TOTA's are. You guys are so awesome for coming out to support eachother- and it's not just in ppl coming out- it's everything. Like TA DJ's playing TA producer's stuff out and the DJ's supporting eachother. I feel honoured to be part of such an amazng group. |

nice job john and emery. hope you drew enough to get main room again. i just wonder how many drinks alex passed over to you john? you didn't look so good as the night progressed. especially that pinkish drink.
hope you all had fun. TA djs looked quite comfortable representing in the main room. hope you get the chance to do it again. |

I had to take off early to go to another club before I called it a night but holy , it looks packed in there! Congrats John and Emery, and all the DJs, you pulled it off!
(must say I'm a little envious of those DJ booth pics! lol :D )
So great to see everyone again, albeit briefly...couldnt begin to list everyone!
Tara - I saw Chris at Kool Haus later - that was unexpected! So great to see you again, we'll have to chat again soon. :) |

What an amazing night, thanks to John & Emery!! You guys have worked so hard, and you got the proper turnout and the proper vibe to reflect it. Big ups!! Boh Boh!!
When I arrived outside at 11:30, the VIP lineup was all the way up the street to the corner, and the regular line was long also. I had to doubletake, thinking that there must be some big headliner to draw a crowd that big. Nope, it was the 1NT3RF3R3NC3 DJS!!!! System was packed, and the people came to dance.
The Music / DJs
The tunes were flowing all night, right from the first second I walked in. Schryer & Aaron Mossey tore it up, getting me moving early and everyone else too. Schryer....dude, Outhouse is pure you. Hearing you play that got me so pumped, that was your moment. Then Deepgroove & Vagrant mesmorized us with some sick ass prog & tech. Matt.... the first tech track you played....so dirty, so good. And Pearl Jam (I think) layered with some sick beats was phenominal. You held that mix perfectly for minutes. I thought it was only one record ... Then the surprize of the night........DEKO-ZE. He went absolutely nuts, dropping some heavy techno and bangin his head around like it wasn't attached to his neck. (Baguette, Murder was the Bass, Just Kick....all favorites). Deko-ze... Start to finish, there is no comparison. Möbius & Fuzion followed up hard, then bringing it down with some trance. Möbius....what a build with Obsession (frank Biazzi mix). There was so much energy, not even you could control yourself ;) Then ESO and myself closed the night, banging it even harder! I thought ESO played amazing...its always great to hear him play techno ;) Maybe more in the future? ESO...its such a pleasure to play with you. You help make me a better DJ, and you will always be my favorite.
It was also great to hear some TOTA production talent....Breaks remix of BT- Remember (Max Q & LKD Mix), and unknown techno track (Waxen vocal).
The Crowd
The vibe was top notch from the very first miniute. Lots of TAs out supporting, and lots of System regulars who were beaming over how fun the night was. It was great to see some of my high school friends out (thanks for staying to hear me spin). And to all the new Tranceaddict recruits....sign up, and be a part of the magic ;)
Thanks to all my special friends to came to see us play. Some of you came from very far away and I really appreciate that. I wouldn't be where I am now without my friends supporting me, so thank you.

That is the reason why the 1NT3RF3R3NC3 1yr anniversary was such a success. Great job to everyone involved with the night...I bet another System main room night isn't too far away.

It was awesome to see the TA force in effect! All the dj's I saw did a wikkid job, very impressive :)
John, your suggestion to me....I totally agree!!! You and Emery did a wikkid job puttin this together! You guys Rock!!!!!!!!! |

| So Mr. TECHno addict is just exiting on Spadina when his cell phone rings. Its the alarm monitoring system operater - "Mr. Button, there is a reported break in at your store, we need you to go to the scene." me i say to myself, so at 11:00 im doing a u-turn back home. I get to the "scene" and it turns out my in manager left the back door open and the wind set off the alarms. I wait for the cops to arrive, and at this point its just after midnight. I had to work at 8 this morning, so i said it and went home. I appologize to John & Em and all the kick ass dj's that i missed lastnight. It looks like it was a huge success, and it doesnt surprise me you got the crowd reaction you received. I guess ill just have to come for the next Interference party, as im sure there will be one in the near future. See you all at Freedom. ;) |
