wally lewis is a favourite from way back
queensland for me.
next game will be interesting, apparently queensland always take it if they win the first match of the series?? |

Game was won in the Kimmorley vs Lockyer kicking department.
Kimmorley didn't land a decent kick for the first 30 -> NSW used a whole lot of fuel -> gave away penalties -> gave away a try.
Missed a conversion attempt; had he got it NSW would have won (same though for Lockyer).
Was trying pretty hard in the last 10 by charging off the line but he couldn't do .
Threw a stupid long pass which cost NSW the game.
Conclusion: Brett Kimmorley. |

Kimmorley most overrated player in the league. Provided no width for the backs like Gasnier, who looked devastating with ball in hand when he finally touched it. You cant play ing flat Northern Eagles attack in Origin :whip:
Queensland forwards were rushing up and the blues had no where to go bar the last 20 mins when they eventually started to wear out!
as in my earlier post, if Brett Kimmorley is the half-back for game two, I will not only refuse to watch the game, but put a cool $1000 on QLD to win. |

Sid... Thats a big call. With or without Kimmorley, Queensland are absolute playing in Sydney the last 5 years.
I wouldn't put it past NSW to win the next 2 games.
I'm just glad QLD won one! |
