the movie was very awesome, sans the subplot with Dennis Quaid, which was a bit corny. the rest of it was amazing, with the special effects and computer graphics, etc. |

this is a movie i know i'm not spending $9+ to go see. Armageddon and Godzilla I saw on DVD (or VHS at the time) and was absolutely disappointed with. I was sorry for having spent the money to see it. Independence Day was okay, but only because of Will Smith. Going to see a movie for its special effects, i find, is srupid, unless its a movie were the special effects absolutely blow you away (there are only a few of those gems).
I may rent this when it comes out, but right now it's just one of those movies targeted towards stupid teens who are really dumb enough to dispense money to go see it. in short, it's a money trap |

the subplot I'm talking about is the reuniting with his son. i know the dialog is corny and whatnot, but I was expecting the special effects would "balance" that out. and it's much better than some other movies out right now, so I don't see why everyone is bashing this movie so much in particular, except for maybe that it was overhyped. |

| Cant say i liked it. Like my friend said. you saw the comercial you saw the movie. Only problem is that you dont really grow with the characters. when your done seing the movie you have to say witch country you saw the person at in order to be specific. the movie is pure eye candy but most of the eye candy was already provided in the damn comercial. But im glad i saw it. I saw the trailer back in February and i said......This movie is going to own lol. anyways thanks for your opinion guys i ended up seeing it as you can see.:) |

| this movie is not that good at all - wayyyyy too predictible and instead of focusing on certain other things that could have made the movie more interesting it focuses on a stupid relationship subplot. i guess its a good pocorn movie if thats your cup of tea but i like twisted movies where you never know whats goin aka memento, butterfly effect. |

the Butterfly effect is an awful movie, btw...

I just saw the movie - as most everyone has said, the graphics are so damn cool. HOWEVER, as WE SHOULD EXPECT, the plot is pretty weak. However, lucky for me I wasn't expecting an oscar-winning script or performance from anyone in that movie. I wish there had been more disaster scenes though. After the first hour not much else goes on other than tying up loose ends.
If you liked ID, armageddon, (i'm sure i spelled that wrong), and my personal fave, twister, this is your movie. |

| shrek 2 is awesome. it was really such a good movie. it was a well-needed break from all the that's in theaters now (i.e. day after tomorrow). |

i just came back from seeing it what can i say it SUCKED
the special effects were pretty cool but thats the only good thing i can say about the movie |

| when i first saw the trailer for this, they made it seem SOOOOOOOO ing cool. from what i gathered of the trailer i saw, the movie was gonna start with a half hour of destruction. and then the other hour and a half was gonna be search and rescue type or something cool like that. something different. but according to your reviews, it isnt anything like that. so i wont be seeing it. |
