i'll still throw on some motorhead once in a while...maybe some sabbath...meh, i listen to what my mood dictates....

the one thing i hate hearing people say is "oh i used to listen to rock and rap and metal but now i'm only into electronic":whip:

you can move forward without moving on.....always keep an open mind to all kinds of music

:)

Sorry I have disagree with you here, you can dance to punk just like jungle. Same beat and speed for the "break". I've done it many times.

Green Day was the , b4 they went TOP 40. I wish they never sold out ...

yea i guess you could...

in hardcore there is a different way of dancing... not moshing. dancing, but very hard and violently haha.

the toronto scene always lacked in punk and hardcore.. i used to go down to buffalo sometimes to see some bands, and windsor as well.

its really surprising now to see a lot of these bands make it really big.. Hatebreed was a band i was totally in love with and now they're playing ozzfest, every time i die is also another band which i never imagined to play ozzfest either, i remember seeing them at my first hardcore show with the legendary CRO-MAGS at the katherdral...

crazy.

i kinda wana hit up a hxc show but ill prolly just be disappointed and go home with a frown.

I listen to most rock genres, now I just listen to new and fresh indie type music for the most part. Listenin to lot of stuff, and when I get my cable internet back, Ill be back into downloading anything and everything. Listenin to the Franz Fernindad right now, and going to buy the Modest Mouse CD soon, but the Strokes have been my favorite new band for the past 3 years now.

Rock n' Roll saved my soul.

I only listen to EDM. I have about 17 gigs of music on my computer, which isn't much, but it's all EDM, mostly trance, except for a few tracks here and there !
The Highroller
i listen to classical guitar

i also listen to hip hop when i'm drinking which puts me in my alpha-male womanizing mode. hip hop works well with that :D

I grew up listening to Punk and still do. I used to go to Warehouse to see NOFX, Bad Religion, Bouncing Souls, Pennywise and many more. Good old days. I still have a Punkorama - straight out of the pit t-shirt somewhere, i used to wear it all the time....lol

Rock, Opera Metal, Heavy Metal, Nu Metal, Death Metal (In Flames forever baby!:whip: ) are all like 2nd nature to me :).

Listening to one genre is like living in a box to me. You've gotta expand your horizons.

Although trance is still #1 for me, I doubt that I'll stop listening to other genres.
